The 2026 season is officially underway—and what a season it is. At Mabel Jazz Band, we won’t hide it: we’re starting this year with a special kind of energy—the kind you feel when you know exciting things are ahead. Meaningful projects, new connections, and formats we’ve been eager to explore for a long time. And since we love sharing these moments with you, here is our big mid-season update.
Wedding Award 2026: 4th Consecutive Year
Let’s begin with the news that truly moved us: Mabel Jazz Band has won the Wedding Award 2026.
This award belongs to you first and foremost. It reflects the trust you’ve placed in us, the reviews you took the time to leave, and the moments you chose to share with us. Every wedding we are part of is a responsibility we take deeply to heart—and being recognized for that is an immense source of pride.
The Wedding Award honors the highest-rated wedding vendors based on client reviews. Receiving it in 2026 reinforces everything we believe in: working with care, commitment, and the conviction that live music can transform an ordinary day into an unforgettable memory.

80 Weddings Already Booked in 2026: Dates Are Filling Fast
This year, we are accompanying many couples across Western France and beyond for their weddings. Outdoor ceremonies, cocktail receptions under the trees, first dances in swing rhythm, and evenings that stretch into the first light of dawn—every wedding tells a different story, and that is what makes our work so meaningful.
We perform throughout Pays de la Loire, Brittany, the Bordeaux–Paris–Brest triangle, and anywhere we are invited. Nantes, Rennes, Angers, Le Mans, La Roche-sur-Yon, Vannes, Bordeaux, Paris… our wedding map across France grows every year.
Here are some of our most requested formats this season:
Ceremony + Cocktail Reception
Our most popular package. A moving musical moment during the ceremony, followed by the festive energy of a live cocktail performance.
Mabel Dixie Band Roaming Performance
A lively brass-band experience that surprises guests upon arrival or as they move between spaces. Pure joy—guaranteed.
Pop & Covers Trio
(More details available on the Mabel Events website)
A more contemporary pop-oriented format, centered around reinvented cover songs to create an elegant atmosphere that appeals to all audiences. Perfect for cocktail receptions, private events, or corporate gatherings with a strong musical identity.
In mid-July, we’ll also be filming a new promotional video for this format at Château de la Colaissière, a new Mabel Events partner. A great opportunity to showcase both this collaboration and the performance format in an exceptional setting.
Live Band + DJ Package
We perform the live sets, then a DJ takes over for the dance party. The ideal combination for a seamless celebration.

Gatsby Tour 2026: 8 Dates, Incredible Atmosphere
This is the flagship event project of the year: Mabel Jazz Band is launching its Gatsby Tour, featuring 8 dates in 2026, in partnership with Challenger Event.
Gypsy jazz, swing, Charleston—a period-inspired repertoire delivered with unmistakably modern energy. All performed in carefully selected prestigious venues chosen to enhance the Gatsby atmosphere: Opéra National de Nancy, InterContinental Hotel Marseille, Palais Consulaire Toulouse, Maison de l’Amérique Latine Paris, Fort de Vaise Lyon, and many more.
This tour is designed for premium corporate events and is offered to event organizers, reception venues, and event agencies seeking to provide their clients with an immersive, elegant, turnkey experience.

La GuinguetZ: Our Co-Hosted Event with La Gressière
One of the biggest new additions this season is La GuinguetZ, an event we co-organize with La Gressière, in Bernerie-en-Retz.
The idea? To blend the spirit of the traditional French guinguette—that warm, joyful, carefree atmosphere of riverside gatherings—with the energy of Mabel Dixie Band and the vibrant colors of a carefully curated DJ set.
This public event takes place in a stunning setting where live music and good vibes rule.
La GuinguetZ is our way of stepping beyond reception venues and reaching a wider audience—while staying true to who we are: a band that loves performing, loves people, and believes music is meant to be shared.

New Partners, New Adventures
2026 is also the year our partner network continues to grow. We are proud to welcome new collaborators with whom we create exceptional events:

Consulting & Expertise: A New Service
You may not know this yet, but the DJ team at Mabel Events is also developing a consulting service for partners.
This includes support with sound-level management, audio logistics, and regulatory compliance for events held in public or private venues with acoustic constraints. Our field experience allows us to help partners ensure live music remains possible—within regulations and without compromising quality.

Autumn 2026: Meet Us at Wedding Shows
In autumn 2026, we will be attending several wedding fairs across the region.
This will be a great opportunity to meet us in person, listen to musical excerpts, browse our packages, and ask all your questions over a coffee.
